Google Form

Google Form has endless possibilities where you can ask a question and get information.  You can make it into a quiz, a survey, or a questionnaire.  So how do you make a Google Form? The first thing you need to do is open Google Form.  Make sure you are logged into your Google account and go to the waffle.  Look for the purple icon.  

Once there, you can start a new Form or use the supplied templates.  Go to the template gallery for even more templates.  

Once you select the type you want to make, it will open up the blank Form.  Now it is time to customize it.  I selected a blank one.  The first thing it asks you to do is to add a title and description.  

Once you have that section filled out.  You can add/edit the first question.  It defaults as a multiple choice question but it changes as you type.  Kind of crazy, huh? It knew mine was a short answer.  Below it shows you the different types of questions you can do. 

To add another question, click to + sign (add question) and select the type of question you want.  

You can also change the type of question as you type the question using the dropbox to the right of the question.  I started typing the question "what size" and it gave suggested answer choices.  I clicked on them and it used them for me.  Very easy!!

After you have added all your questions, you can customize the theme by changing the color and text type.  

You can also go to the settings tab to control form settings.  This is where you would change the form into a quiz.  

To share, you will click the send button and this window will pop up.  You can share using Twitter or Facebook.  You can email it, get an embedded link for a website, or a link to share.  

You can even get a short URL if you want others to have to type it in (i.e. you are presenting at a staff meeting).  Share away and have fun using this easy feature Google offers.
