Google Drawings is another new feature that Google offers that I didn't know about. You can do many things in Google Drawings. The following video shows you how to make Google Drawings and shows different uses in the classroom.
The video shows that Google Drawings can be used for:
- graphic organizers
- interactive worksheets
- infographics
- to explain complex concepts
- label images
- visuals and diagraphs
- timelines
The best part is you can share your Google Drawings using Google Classroom and it automatically makes a copy so students can manipulate and type the document to complete it independently.
How do you get to Google Drawings? Here are the step-by-step directions:
First, go to your Google Drive and select New, and go down to More to show Drawings
Next, you can change the background from the standard one. You will need to right-click and change the coloring. 
Finally, you can start to play around using the various tools. Watch the video for more ideas on what to create.
